Sarah Phillips

Sarah Phillips is from the Sustainability Services team at the Victorian Employers’ Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VECCI). She specialises in utilising the capacity of Web 2.0 to build communities that collaborate on carbon abatement and assist businesses navigate the carbon jungle. Sarah has a passionate interest in social media and online communities.
 
Sarah will discuss how the power of community, collaboration and Web 2.0 can be used to create large scale positive change, and in particular assist business successfully transition towards the low carbon economy. Sarah will also share an exciting new initiative that VECCI are launching called Carbon Compass. Being launched on 30th March 2010, Carbon Compass is a unique and innovative online space dedicated to unifying businesses to assist each other reduce carbon emissions and implement sustainable business practices.
