Sieta Whitehead
Sieta is the new muscle behind Melbourne Sustainability Drinks, taking the event to the next level through efficient processes, a genuine commitment to sustainability and by expanding distribution throughout Australia. Rolling out an international version of Sustainability Drinks within the next 2 years is a possibility Sieta is very excited about.
Sieta joined Shaper Group in November 2009 in the role of Office Manager and is bringing a fresh perspective to the organisational systems, processes and sustainability events. Positive change for the future is something Sieta aims to create, both within Shaper Group and externally through the formation of partnerships and influencing suppliers.
In her previous role as Manager and Media Liaison for The Castle Climbing Centre in London, Sieta organised many events and festivals, including the launch of a new, comprehensive Environmental Policy for the business. The research, discussions and change management involved in committing to an Environmental Policy gave Sieta a new passion for business sustainability, particularly in the context of a time of changing global financial and economic markets. She is very excited about being involved in helping businesses and communities become more robust in their environmental and economic futures.
Additionally, Sieta loves to work with people. Having run her own successful business, as well as project managed a variety of media and corporate team-building events in the UK, Sieta is adept at building strong relationships both within a team and across different interest groups. Sieta plans to use her networking skills and passionate belief in sustainability to ensure Sustainability Drinks events are as inspiring as ever.
